BAZAR
About the Font
Typography developed in the Advanced Typography course unit taught in the Master’s Program in Graphic Design and Editorial Projects at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.
The Bazar typeface is a revivalist font created based on a collection of commercial shop signs. This survey was carried out in the city of Porto, specifically on Rua Faria Guimarães, Rua do Almada, Rua dos Caldeireiros, Rua Nicolau Nasoni, and Rua das Flores.
This typeface is not a reproduction of any particular sign, but rather a reinterpretation of the various samples collected.
