FBAUP TYPES is a student-led archive born within the walls of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Created to give visibility to student work and spark a deeper culture of type design within the university, the platform functions as both an archive and an invitation — to experiment, share and celebrate letters in all their forms.
By opening up the platform to a wider audience, FBAUP TYPES acts as a bridge between school and the professional world — connecting emerging designers with creative communities, studios and other students across disciplines and geographies. It gives visibility to young talent and encourages dialogue beyond the classroom, fostering collaborations and connections that can shape future practices.
